Measuring
Physical or chemical quantities are determined by measuring. Sensors detect the data and transmit these to a measuring transducer that transforms the data to a corresponding signal or display value. The combination of sensor and measuring transducer is generally designated as a measuring device.
Measuring devices are used to measure
- Pressure, temperature, flow rate
- pH value, redox potential
- Ozone concentration in the process air and in the water
- Pollutants in the air
- Conductivity measurement, ion measurement
- etc.
Selection of the right measuring instruments is of great importance. Do not hesitate to ask us - we will be pleased to give you the right recommendation for every application.
Controlling
Control systems can be used to define specific sequences in accordance with a defined pattern or plan. A typical example of this id a pump control system. Through a start command (e.g. Tank empty) a circuit is activated which starts up the pump and lets it pump until a specific volume has been pumped or a specific level has been reached.
During operation important operating states (motor temperature, mass flow, initial pressure, etc.) are detected and also evaluated.
Reliable control systems contain a high protection and monitoring level.
Closed-loop controlling
Closed-loop controls keep specific specified operating data at a constant level. Examples of closed-loop controls are:
- Temperature control
- Pressure control
- Flow rate and quantity control
- Level control
- Controlling of chemical data such as ozone concentrations
In addition to the theoretical knowledge closed-loop control tasks also require great practical experience, both in selecting the measuring technology and for the selection of the right control elements. Rely on our experience.
