Overview of processes

The treatment aim is defined by the respective raw water quality as well as the intended water usage. Basically a difference is made between drinking water treatment and process water treatment.

Drinking water treatment:
In the context of drinking water treatment, several processing steps are usually combined so that hygienic water of perfect quality with the most natural possible composition is provided after the end of the treatment chain.

Process water treatment:
In process water treatment the composition of the water is adapted to the respective industrial requirements through various treatment measures.

The following process overview shows a rough classification of the various processes.
